Replaced the 3 point bridge with a hipshot supertone. First time I tried to put it one, when I tried to tune up some strings they pulled the bridge post out. Some glue did the trick in keeping the bridge in. I also tossed on some black nylon Tapewounds which are... different. Not sure how...

I did it. I found one of the Jack Casady basses I wanted at a pretty good deal and have now joined the Jack Casady Club. I just looooove the white Tuxedo look this particular finishes have. Been looking for one in white for months now.

Can anyone with experience with ordering a custom Dingwall and knows their pricing estimate how much this thing cost?

My Dingwall combustion is uniquely noisy among my basses. It's picking up radio frequencies and sending them to my bass amp which my other basses do no have this sort of problem. Is there any kind of fix like additional shielding?

What kind of pickups are the FD-3N's? Are they single coil or humbucker? Mine seem kinda noisy and were picking up radio singles into my amp today. Dunno if they need extra shielding or something.

So what are my options for combustion 6 string replacement sets aside from Dingwall's own brand of strings?

Are there any pickup selector mods to get even more silly with my 3 pickup combustion? Happy with neck, neck+mid parallel, bridge+mid series, and bridge. But it'd be kinda fun to get brige+mid or even something completely ridiculous like all three in series in parallel too.
