    Positive, im lucky enough to live in a very musical household (25+ guitars and basses plus amps and stuff) and have tried it with a bunch of combinations of cables, wireless and amps to see whether the issue was the bass or not

    Pop Punk does wierd things for me, I would honestly rate myself as an above average bass player but I still find myself almost exclusively playing in Pop Punk bands and jamming on the root despite the fact I could do more. I dont know why I just love keeping it simple!

    Suggest a Starter Set - New player

    Personally I think the Squier packs are great value although it is a bit cliche. Plus I have always felt a Jazz is a fairly middle ground bass in terms of style sound etc and it will give a good yardstick to compare other basses to in the future, just my two-cents.
