    Ampeg B2RE Cabinet Question

I appreciate all the help, I think I've ruled out adding a 2x10 or 1x15. Just gonna add another SVT410HE. Just hope i can get both cabs in my Prius!! lol.

    Ampeg B2RE Cabinet Question

Exactly what I was thinking, I tried out a 410HLF (4 Ohms) with the B2RE. It didn't seem much louder than the 410HE (8 Ohms). And too loose / boomy for my tastes.

    Ampeg B2RE Cabinet Question

Cool, yeah the reason I was considering adding a 2x10 or 1x15 to the 4x10 was because It would be smaller / not so tall when stacked. The 2x10 or 1x15 prob not a good match for the 4x10, just need another 4x10 I suppose.

    Ampeg B2RE Cabinet Question

Hello All, I am currently Running a Ampeg SVT-410HE with a Ampeg B2RE in an 80's cover band. I LOVE the sound I'm getting but I need a bit more volume. I need to add another cabinet so I can use the amp to its 4 ohm potential. I'm interested in your opinions and wonder what other people pair up...

    String gauge question

Just added some drop D songs to our set list and I am interested in opinions on string gauge. I've always used .45-.100 and love them but would it be better to go with a .105 set? I suppose I need to just try it and see what I like. Anyone else useing .100 for drop D?

    PF-500 Portaflex and PF115HE vs B2RE and SVT-410HE

Just wanted to share my experience when comparing / deciding on an amp and cab to purchase for an 80's cover band for small to medium gigs. My personal shootout was comparing two Ampeg rigs. A PF-500 Portaflex head and PF115HE cab vs B2RE head and SVT-410HE cab. I originally thought it would be...

    SVT-410HE and B2RE

I'm not into big dee Cool, so sometimes you run the B2R with just one 8ohm 4x10? Or is the 4x10 a 4ohm cab? Thanks

    SVT-410HE and B2RE

Excellent. Yeah I'm just hoping the SVT-410HE powered by the B2RE will have enough horsepower. I play 80's covers mostly small clubs/bars. Our drummer is loud as hell, one of the guitarists has a 2x12 fender combo but the other guitarist is running a 100watt Splawn head through a 4x12. I'm not...

    SVT-410HE and B2RE

Hi All, Recently I have switched from playing Guitar to Bass. I am needing a rig for gigging small bars/pubs. I am looking at a used Ampeg SVT-410HE powered by a Ampeg B2RE. I know I don't care for deep low end so I'm not interested in the 410HLF. Eventually I will get a second 410HE. My...
