I haven't really had any complaints from clients about the wrist hurting, and I have both wrists done, and they didn't hurt that bad......just go up to a trusted studio, ask for the artist's input, and you'll get a bad a** tat......and don't forget to tip your artist!

For it to be put on your wrist so small, it would benefit from a simple font, and not so much wordage....if it's only 3 or 4 short words, get it in Easy Street Alternate, always looks good, or go with good ol Helvetica and it will be legible in twenty years (and look like it was typed).
