The neck on my Am Vintage II 60s P is not very thick in my opinion. It's thinner than my AO60 P and AO50 P that I owned. Maybe even slightly thinner than the AM pro II neck. It feels fast and comfortable to me.
Interesting....
Sadowsky isn't my #1 brand for jazz bass right now. For jazz bass it's Alleva Coppolo.
But Sadowsky is my #1 modern bass. I will never part with my NYC M5-24 (as seen in my proflie pic).
2022 has been a crazy year for me. I got 3 basses in one year.
Fender American Vintage II 60s P bass
Fender Macrus Miller Jazz Bass MIJ
Alleva Coppolo LG5
I think I got my bass needs covered for the next decade. Lol
Forgot to post here. I traded in my AO60s P for this AVII 60P. So far I have been enjoying it except that its grounding sucks so I get a lot of noise on stage with the lights.
Took my 60P to church today. It was crazily noisy due to the lights on stage. At home it’s pretty quiet. When I didn’t touch the strings, the noise was almost unbearable. I think I need to take it to a luthier and get it properly shielded.
but it looks gorgeous :)
