Greetings, I'm thinking of going with black hardware on my black RSD fl pj. Does anybody know which bridge will have the same bolt pattern, or will I have re-drill?
Additionally, I want to change to a black control plate do I need 8mm or 3/8" holes?

I have heard a few times that Sadowsky (Warwick) will start selling black hardware, but not sure when, I am also looking to buy a black bridge for my singlecut

Same here, I mailed Sadowsky if I could order black hardware, never got a reply.
So I’ll watch here until news pops up.

I found a Gotoh black bridge that looks very similar but it is 18mm....I need 19mm

I bought a used NYC last year and it came with the Sadowsky Hard Case. I'd like to get a PortaBag and sell the Hard Case.

I don't have any experience with "pre-Warwick" PortaBags, but my "post-Warwick" PortaBag is a damned nice piece! Get the "Professional" one though, the "Express" one is a turd.

I don't have any experience with "pre-Warwick" PortaBags, but my "post-Warwick" PortaBag is a damned nice piece! Get the "Professional" one though, the "Express" one is a turd.

Agree on the Professional, but I have to admit that I love to take the Express to rehearsals; it weighs close to nothing and is good enough when you are the only one handling your bass.

Agreed. My metro came with the “SAC BAG BASS PORTA” and it’s absolute garbage compared to the NYC bag I received. I mean, it’s hard to comprehend how cheap it is until you have them side-by-side.

Pretty disappointing for a cheap bag like that to come with a $2800 bass, but I have to admit that I only ever really use my Mono bag, unless I take 2 basses to a gig.

One other thing to note: both of my NYC Satin basses came with different cases. My 5-21 came with a genuine PortaBag and the M5-24 came with a rectangular Gator soft case.

I have both. As is typical, i think the Sadowdsky version is an improvement..It has much bigger pockets, without the "organizing" features.. That said, the Stage 5 is an awesome case.

I haven’t done an exact AB test, but my Portabag feels heavier than my Stage 5.
