Hi guys, having some mb2 500 dramas that maybe someone here has found a solution to. My mb2 500 this morning just died after 20s of playing. Basically, when I turn it on it has no power light and the clip light stays solid. I've tried it on different power sockets to no avail. Any tips?

Yeah, I realised that I didn't give info when I was out and about. However it was suggested that I put a pot in front of the circuit, since my active bass may be overloading the circuit. Fitting this caused the circuit to work well.

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but I just built this pedal, with 2 1N4148 diodes, and the decay is almost instantaneous. Sounds like it would sound awesome, but no notes last long enough to find out. Any suggestions?

With my emg40DC's I just need to have the volume on the VT bass quite low. thee than that I find the VT wonderful.

Hihi I'm getting a new bass this week and am also looking at upgrading my rig. Currently I have an Ashton 400W head and a 15" cab. I want to change to a 2x10/12 combo probably. Something like the ibanez promethean. I know there's a number of micro bass heads etc, so I could go that route and...
