So guys, I'm in my local GC, just looking around at used gear (I'm in the market for a bass cab) and I find a used Ampeg 210, and a used GK Backline 410. Altogether the package would come to ~$375. Would this be a good rig to set up with my 350W Hartke head? Or am I better off buying a new 410...

In all I'm not particularly worried what he thinks, but I was more looking for someone to say "Hey you're right! That's a better amp/deal than his idea!" or "Hey, you're a moron! Go with what he said!" Hahahaha Any opinions?

Oh yeah we have PA support on the bigger gigs. The issue he has is that we are using some money we've collected from other gigs, which is technically "band" money not "bassist" money. And he's trying to find me these "deals". However in my experience, I get what I pay for.

Ok so I just replaced the strings on my Schecter, same D'addario medium gauges as before, and I'm coming to a problem with tuning my D string. I can get the string a little bit above a B before something up in the machine head pops...Did I break the head? Or what else is the issue?
