Hey, I was just thinking about getting a Danelectro Longhorn reissue. But I just want to make sure that it's a good bass and that it gets good reviews first? So, if any of you have a Danelectro Longhorn, tell me what you think of it.

He may have been melodic and all, but he is nowhere near as good as any of the bassists I grew up listening to. Not as good as Chris Squire or Geddy Lee.

In 7th grade I was in a band I started with one of my friends who couldn't sing and another one of my friends who couldn't play drums. I was the only one who knew how to play an instrument. The lyrics to all of our songs often didn't make much sense, or were inside jokes making fun of our peers...
So I just had this Jazz Band Audition and I was wondering if there was a way you can tell you are good or if you got the part. Also I'm trying to start this band and my friend says I'm not good enough even though he's never heard me play.
