Hi all, Right now i own a Washburn T-14,its got 2 style of pups,,jazz and p soapbar style,although is ok beginner bass, i'd like to upgrade to a fender jazz,or similar. i looked also at a p-bass special (mex) nice tone,was really supprised ! There is also a local Canadian dude...

Well,,since i only have 4 fingers,,i figure its easier to play than guitar.:hmm::hmm: all kidding aside, i love playing bass as much as a bear likes wiping himself with a hare in the woods..:)

Marc,,where are you from,,from what i read,,i think we are in the same area.(montreal) if so,,check out a store in the west isl. called MusicCircle,, got great starter basses (really great tone) like washburn t-14 for arround 200-220 $ great bass for the $ and its new...

took 1 1/2 yrs of lessons at age 13,,dropped out of music for the next 30 yrs,,now at age 43,i took it up once again,, been taking lessons once a week. my 11 yr old son also takes lessons,,but electric guitar.......

What about a Washburn,,?? i have one and for the $$ its a great bass
