White MusicMan Stingray "Slo Special".

Sent it in for service and very happy I did. They said the fan was too close to another component and was clipping it. They also did a numer of other tests and made adjustments. Now I know what it should sound like.

Final update: We finally let our problematic lead vocalist go after the new year and he is still looking for another band. Since then we have picked up two new vocalists that are just awesome. One male and one female. We held onto our original guy way too long.

Ruled out everything except the amp. Shipped it to GK yesterday. Will keep everyone posted on calibre of customer service. The Amp is still under the one year warranty.

So why can't Ibanez build a premium bass that has a quick change battery slot in the back? I was considering the 1200 or the 1205 but I figured if they can't even plan a small nicety like that, how can I trust they put everything they could into the premium models. Evidently they did not.

Update on my MB 500 Fusion. - Our sound man says it has a low level electrical hum and I should not use it to gig since it wrecks havoc in the PA and drives him crazy when he's mixing us. Sounds great at rehearsal even if I do notice a slight electrical noise. But it's a real let down...
