  1. Turn Em Loose

Just rewatched the Woodstock movie. (Warning: "old man" content!)

WCBE 90.5 out of Columbus, Ohio, plays pretty much all “alternative” music. Very, very eclectic. Livestream if you’re not local to C-bus.

    Mic Stand Trays

Trial run. It works pretty good! It looks messier than it is. And I’ve got a nice little spot to put miscellaneous items. Bonus!

    Mic Stand Trays

As usual Mal, your ability to cut through the muck is impressive. If I got a tray I’d need a stand and the trays don’t fold up. More cartage. Yuck. I do have a cheap music stand I keep in my car. Long term I don’t think it would cut it. But I can try it out for a few gigs to see if it’ll...

    Mic Stand Trays

A simple solution may be a good ol' music stand. I keep one in the car as a justincase. It's not a bad stand and folds up and stores in a bag for easy cartage.

    Mic Stand Trays

No bending over. No cord spaghetti messing with the knob/settings. And I'd use me hands. All I use is a tuner, comp and preamp.

What are you guys using for mic stand trays? I’ve been scheming to put my pedal board a few feet off the ground for easier access. It’s a small board. A Pedaltrain Nano. And even then I’ve got a little room to spare. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!

    Genzler Amplification Club

I rarely get a chance to use my Genzler rig much these days. (Mostly IEM.) MG800 and three BA110's. The cabs are the original versions. And even more rare is using all three 110 cabs. But last night filling in on a reggae/dub gig I brought all three cabs. Not really for volume. More for...

    Subway+ Bass DI-Preamp II

Then from my experiences you guys nailed your goal. I haven’t been this excited and/or pleased about a piece of gear in a long time.

    Subway+ Bass DI-Preamp II

I’ve had a Noble and the Grace Felix and Alix. It’s been a few years since I’ve had those (Back when I was gigging a lot more. But that’s another thread/topic.) and I had the Grace and Noble at the same time. Even with a notoriously bad memory I can say with a confident amount of confidence...

Yeah. That’s pretty much it, exactly. Pretty impressive.

Honestly? Maaayyybe a slight edge towards the Subway. Check out the links and decide for yourself.

    Subway+ Bass DI-Preamp II

Just for giggles. Both tracks with my “P bass” (Bluesman Vintage with pretty new nickel rounds and tone wide open) playing along to Find Yourself by Lucas Nelson. Great tune with a veeerrry delayed backbeat. Subway’s DI is set to Pre. Subway+ II JDI

    Subway+ Bass DI-Preamp II

Ok. I *think* I read somewhere the DI still has the cab sim when set to Pre?

Just one gig on it so far. Works great! Yes, Master is to control bass volume. Use your Aux/Monitor from the board to control the rest of the mix.
