Recently bought this well-used, older mesa boogie 4x10 powerhouse in roadready cab. It sounds great but, is it the real thing? Can anybody tell me anything about this model? Its 600 watts, 8 ohms.

Was talking about the latest genuine American Standard Precision. There's a pic on the fender website of a sunburst with a maple neck for this model, so I'm hoping of getting this..the store did say it was a 2 month wait as the sunburst is still the most popular by far

These amps have heaps of power, on paper. Has anyone out there in bass land tried one? Would it be suitable for a rocking, punky, loud 3-piece?

Thanks bass buddies. Dont really want to sell the 400RB, but maybe I will look at trying a few different heads out, more power. Did also think of running the 400RB through a 4x10 - mesa, swr..never done that before, just used the 210 & TL Bin, be good if it was a 4 ohm 4x10..

Thanks for your thoughts - will try some more powerful heads, and could even look at replacing the 200 watt TL, with a 400 watt model..
