I know that when you descend in the melodic minor, you drop the 6th and 7th a half step. So lets say that you are playing out of dorian b2. Would you drop the 6th and 5th degrees when descending? Thanks.

Hey guys. After playing for a few minutes, my Warwick Thumb gets a fuzzy tone and the volume decreases. I put a brand new battery in it a few days ago so I don't think that could be the problem. It even does it when I switch to the passive setting. What could this be?

You should give the DR High Beams a try sometime. They aren't half wound, but round wound instead. The tone is really bright at first but once the brightness leaves they give you a warm sound.

On top of playing bass and guitar; you should play piano. I found that once I started playing piano, I became a better bassist.

I find that there isn't anything wrong with acoustic basses. I actually like the tone that you can get out of them.
