I'm picking the Yorkville BM400 combo up from a friend. I was playing around with it a bit last night but couldn't crank it up. I liked the tone I was hearing with my Mexican p bass special. Anyone play this amp before? Thoughts & comments?

Motu 828MKII here. I think I paid 6 for it. It's only got two pre's but 10 total inputs. That and if you need to expand you can buy another one and chain them together with a firewire connection. I also run a mackie board for the pre-amps. Good combination.

Hmmmm. A friend's band came down from Baltimore to record with me. It was probably 14 hours over 3 days to get 5 complete songs and some of them weren't even tight. The only way you could do 8 in 2 hours is live recording.
