For Sale Ashdown ABM 300-iv (UPDATE)

Silly goose In other/related news: The amp has been returned to full functionality. An amp tech friend of mine was in the area and was willing to take a look. It was the fuse and they found no sign of the amp playing a part in it. Checked with the studio our gear is generally housed in and...

    NBD: Mustang Player Bass

Ahoy! First new bass since I began mostly playing guitar (sorry!). Wanted something a little closer in scale and I always loved the mustang bass platform. In fact I’ve owned a number of them, including this bass when it was being marketed as the “Offset Series”. That was so long ago that I...

NBD - again! Squier Affinity Jaguar Bass H

I just tried one of these downstate. This bass was one of the most impressive in the store. Felt solid as a rock and the pickup was actually really good. The 32 inch scale is really comfortable on this bass. I suspect you will be pleased!

    "On my bathroom scale"

Gonna chime in: I have only ever been asked for weight on Talkbass. Now, I am always willing to get an accurate weight, but Usually by the time I see the inquiry I already have people wanting to buy it without me going through the trouble. Now, to my recollection, I have never provided an...

    SOLD Schecter Banshee Bass

Hands down the best production short scale bass. The neck is ultra fast and reinforced with graphite support rods (amazing feature for the price), the contours are stunning, and the sound is extremely full. I'm not playing much bass these days, otherwise this would be a keeper. No case but will...

    Fender Bass VI: Anything new?

Basically, like the title says. I know some of you ladies and gents are relatively well connected. Been gigging Squier Bass VI's for a while now and would love if my next step up in the Fender Family weren't all the way to the custom shop...It technically could make sense for me, but I'm...

NBD: Cort is kinda incredible now?

Just gonna make some bullet point replies to recurring vibes in this thread... This isn't replacing my "expensive" instruments and I never indicated it would. It is, however, undeniably impressive and many companies simply do not have the features present here at this price point. Any issues I...

NBD: Cort is kinda incredible now?

I won't pretend I haven't found a few cosmetic qc issues with the bass, but the bridge is definitely spot on. Maybe the offset body and the bass resting at a slight angle is making it appear that way in the photo? In any case, for those who've voiced Cort distribution issues: my local store is...

I do not mind this turning into a Cort factory appreciation thread. Not one bit!

NBD: Cort is kinda incredible now?

Snagged this from my local guitar shop. Kinda one of those "I've been playing it for two hours and can't leave without it" type situations. Anywho. Not prepared to do a full write up or anything, but I am utterly stunned at the quality and features. The roasted maple neck nearly looks like...

    Schecter Ultra Bass...

This is actually extremely helpful and I don't know why I didn't think to look up pics of Simon playing them.
