Bergantino Amp purchase anxiety, help me select the right cab!

I posted recently about this, I like the HDN210 better than the REF210. And it’s lighter to boot. Got the HDN210 on top of a HD112 (Ceramic 112 before the Ref series)

Club Bergantino! Let's See Those Rigs!

I also just auditioned the Ref112, Ref210, HDN112 & HDN210 last week and came home with the HDN210. I had a HD112 already. My two favorite are probably the HD112 and HDN210; both very cool and goes well together.

Hipshot Bass Xtender...do you use one?

Reviving this old thread. Thinking of installing one of these. Does it add any noticeable weight to the headstock? Make neck dive worst? Thanks!

Mixing Bergantino Ceramic / Neo Driver Types and Sizes

I'm loving this Neo 210 with Ceramic 112 setup. Surprised or curious if more or why not more are not using this combo!?

Mixing Bergantino Ceramic / Neo Driver Types and Sizes

I've had a Bergantino HD112 and wanted to add another cabinet. After auditioning the REF112, REF210, HDN210 and HDN112, I ended up choosing the HDN210 to pair with my HD112. I was not expecting this to be the end result. I know the 112 with 210 combo has been popular; however I was wondering...

Best Jazz Style Pickup / Pre-Amp for Warwick Corvette

I'm researching this for a friend (I'm a guitar player). Our bass player has a German made Warwick Corvette from the 90's with Jazz Style pickups. He had EMG's put in there many years ago. He thinks the pickups or something in there is starting to give out. I was wondering what would be...

Fender AV '63 P vs. American Design Experience

The body on the American Experience will be Poly vs the Nitro finish on the American Vintage. Then of course all the case candy/extras and possibly higher resale of the stock model.

NAD: Ampeg SVT II & Bergantino NV610 Content

I had great memories of my old SVT-2 Pro; had it racked in a Mesa Boogie shock mount case and with the Eden cabs it took quite some effort to move it. My SVT-2 is currently in a SKB and I was thinking of having a shock mount roadcase made, but now I'm having second thoughts since I was...

NAD: Ampeg SVT II & Bergantino NV610 Content

Thanks guys. I believe the SVT-II is actually quite a bit lighter than a regular SVT (at least the original two channel ones). The SVT-II is 75lbs; I don't remember for sure but those old SVT's felt about a hundred pounds. The berg was surprisingly easy to move around given the wheels...

NAD: Ampeg SVT II & Bergantino NV610 Content

I used to play bass in a couple bands in my college and early post college years. At one point I had a early 70's Blue Line SVT, 2 Skunkworks SVT's and SVTII-Pro but they were all sold many years ago. I wanted to get a bass setup again and looked around. The new class D/mirco size amps were...

USA Custom Guitars / USACG Love?

I see a lot of Warmoth threads but don't really see many USACG thread around here? I'm putting together a parts p-bass and would like to use USACG as they are able to do a traditional truss rod, no graphite/steel reinforcement rods and b/c in the guitar forums USACG seem to get a bit more love...

Thinking of buying a Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray HH...

Thanks everyone for your input so far. Very helpful. The reason for my questions is b/c yesterday I was 'running the rack' as they say and came across a very resonant/not too heavy/great setup/playing/sounding Stingray at the store. I was looking for a vintage style P-Bass but of all the...

Thinking of buying a Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray HH...

Thanks! Is there much of a difference in tone between a similarly equipped Sterling and a Stingray?

Thinking of buying a Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray HH...

I'm thinking if buying a Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray 4HH and just wanted to get some opinions from the experts here. I've mostly play Fender basses in the past and haven't played in awhile. Wanted to pick up bass again. I will probably be playing rock, blues rock, alternative rock and...
