Hey... I'm an old guy (realatively speaking) but I'm just getting started! Just got my first combo... a Hartke 5210. It's awesome... my playing is not but I am going to keep working on it.

I got to play on this same set-up in a local shop this past summer during the day when no other customers were around and it was pretty amazing. It litterally blows the hair on your legs back when you stand in front of it. Really nice sound.

What about if you have a 210 which isn't rated for a very low frequency response (say it bottoms out @ 50) and you want to add a cab that will take the rigs' frequency response down to something like 30. If there is a 115 in the same line of speakers that would provide that wouldn't it make...

I am trying to figure out if a GK RBH 115 could be used as a single cab solution for home practice and jammin with friends (yes with a drum but not overly loud). I did some searching on here but did not really find an answer to my question. Every reference I found was referring to the RBH 115...

What were your impressions of the TC BC500 210?

Would this head paired with a GK neo 112 make for a good first rig? Would it be able to play with a guitar and a drummer? It just seems that this pairing would fall into a price range that compares with an intermediate combo. Thoughts?

Residue from a sticker is easy to remove with a product called goo gone so that should be a none issue.

As a totally confused noobe who still can't figure out what he wants to buy as his first bass rig... I thought it interesting that within the audiophile community there are (or at least used to be) similar arguments when talking about the reproduction of bass frequencies on a stereo system...
