I got an EHX Big Muff. And a powered pedal board. Whoo hoo. Quick question though, I noticed that the Muff only has two plug in's for instrument cables and none for a power source. Does it feed off the power from the amp or something? Sorry for my noob-ness.

All very good advice. Mine is to relaaaax. Just try to shut out the audience and pretend it's just you and your band-mates jamming out and having a good time. As long as you can ease that stress off of your mind, you will do fine with the actual musical aspect of it.

I agree, although I would have to add on that if you are looking into a more hardcore direction that you should probably focus on your sound and tone instead of the specific bass. This is mostly preference based, but you will most likely want to have a real deep, squashing sound for the...
