    Fralin makes some nice pickups. I put some in my Jazz. You can tweak the winding too to adjust the tone to make it a bit more bright or dark.

    I have. He's definitely talented, but still the 3rd best bassist in Metallica. If he'd had played pbass he probably wouldn't have had to resort to reality tv to find a gig.

    James. Lars. Simple mistake. Still doesn't change the fact that he was fired and replaced due to his poor tone. Which could have easily been improved if he had played a pbass.

    I think they are being listed at 1999 now. Which is about 150 over MAP. Which isn't too bad for a small batch limited run I imagine. My only issue is that when I get close to that 2k line I start thinking of other brands I'd like to give a go.

    I would agree, some of the other exotics were more "exotic" than the bass... it sure is pretty though
