You gotta track down one of these super rare Mosfet Bass Death variants we made for an event in Chicago a couple years ago.

    Chug CAPO on bass!

Pitch detection requires, at minimum, reading half the wavelength of a note. So for B0 at ~33ms wavelength you're going to be more than 15ms to detect the note and then shift the pitch to the new note. Add that to the baseline latency of the DSP system and you get a little squirrely on the low...

    Anyone used this new Capo?

Its maintaining upper harmonic content nicely down through about 8 semitones which is pretty solid. Most pedals in this style are low passing pretty heavily by that point.

    Baltimore Pedal Show '26

This year was by far the biggest show we have done and Im really happy with the results. Union gives us some room to grow for years to come. We had a ton of bass players come to the Damnation table and Sushibox had a bass from our friend Prophecy Instruments here in Baltimore.

Truly clean clean blends on dirt pedals - lists needed

IMO its more that designing a distortion pedal for people that use flats is a really niche market and it doesn't happen much because most people playing with drive are using rounds. Perhaps that doesn't help you but this is the kind of drive that gets people into designing gear!

    Effect doubt: Suboctaver into Fuzz?

Fuzz into the suboctave might end up better for tracking because fuzz has a lot less dynamic range than the clean signal.

Truly clean clean blends on dirt pedals - lists needed

High output pickups with flats is really a worst case scenario for a clean blend on a pedal. I'd recommend looking for something with parallel channels with separate volumes rather than just a mix control with dirt and clean on either side. You want to be able to set that clean level independent...

If you're talking about Dirtripper its a two channel loop blender for use with other pedals. It doesn't have its own distortion.

Looking for a tool to clear accumulation of “mud” or “boom” or “boxiness”

You probably don't need to remove low end as much as you need to remove some midrange in the frequencies that aren't beneficial. You might try a simple graphic EQ before the amp to cut out some midrange and see if that helps.

That's the first prototype so I don't remember the exact circuit there. One of those switches turns the octave on and off I think. The Depth circuit in that pedal is probably a bit different. Overall the concept would just be to not have any octave to tame the harmonic content and then feed...

Play a passive bass, keep the spite/octave control fully CCW, and roll the volume back a bit on the bass. It mellows out a bit.

The Fuzz Enforcer is not a clone of any specific era of muff. It has a lot of tweaks throughout and wasn't designed as a this or that specific muff version. A lot of the meaningful differences between muff versions come down to tone stack differences and the Fuzz Enforcer has two tone stack...
