I have this version
Does that change anything?

That's the first prototype so I don't remember the exact circuit there. One of those switches turns the octave on and off I think. The Depth circuit in that pedal is probably a bit different.

Overall the concept would just be to not have any octave to tame the harmonic content and then feed the pedal less signal so the overall fuzz is milder. Its mostly about rolling off the volume on the instrument.

MBD (3) just got here! First impressions… incredible. That boost switch is like dropping a nuke which is exactly what my board needed. That’s getting used a lot with the band.

Side effect might be as cool or cooler… I used to keep my Cat Tail off of my board because it made my low end disappear. Run into the MBD, that’s no longer a problem. The stack sounds ferocious.

I thought the MBD-1 was till death do us part… it’s been dethroned.

I guess I’m back in the club. Made this small board for ease of transport and I’m loving it. It’s got everything I need. Definitely missed the MBD-1. Glad I got back on the train. Just need a flat TRS cable to hook up the expression pedal and it will be complete. My DI is underneath and all powered by Cioks.

Hey, I know that white MBD-1 with Sovtek-style knobs! ;) Glad it ended up with a fellow TB-er! :hyper:

If you're talking about Dirtripper its a two channel loop blender for use with other pedals. It doesn't have its own distortion.

Here we go!

It's live on the site but we're waiting a few weeks to officially announce it. Its a continuation of the Dirtfixer concept. There was a few tweaks based on Ron's preferences and I think it turned out great.

Here's me exploring a demo board for the Baltimore Pedal Show that could double as a live rig with my band. The EQ is powerful but I'm excited about exploring two parallel effects chains AND still have a clean tone.
