New Hofner 500/1 CT violin bass model?

Is it not the difference between the ct and the ignition he might be talking about? That the ct has a more vintage sound due to the vintage finish?

Agree totally. The ct is maximum bang for your buck.

    Hofner-(not just Beatle Basses)-Group Part 2

Anyone having trouble with fitting tapperwounds on 500/1 CT? Seeing that it comes with rounds, and quickly changed to flats, cause those are to my liking, but I was contemplating putting on some rotosound tapperwounds, but I am not shure if I will be able to mount them in the tuners - i know...

LOUD acoustic basses that can compete with acoustic guitars?

Try a Guild b50 nt two weeks ago. I will never be the same. What a sound and volume - here's a thing that'll keep up with a few guitars easily - long arms needed though, but that wont be a problem round these parts

Acoustic bass fetish club Part 2

I go for flatwound - bass up all the way, roll back on the rest - as woody as possible, not excactly and upright sound, but closer to upright than that og an electric bass.
