Thanks @chemojay I ended up picking up a John East Uni Pre but if that does n't work out then its good to know these are still available.

I would call them to check stock levels first. I almost ordered one from them last week but when I called to confirm it turned out that it was not in fact in stock as stated n their website. They just place an order through to John East the same as everyone else.

Are you running this at 9v or 18v? I believe 18v gives you more headroom? I wonder how much of that headroom is actually usable as I have heard under 9v operation it will clip the frontend of your amp when pushed anyway?
