    Post 2009 New England GTG

Absolute thread necromancy there. Just watched Charles Berthoud's new YouTube video about Michael Manring, and it made me think of this spectacular day, when he, Michael Dimin, Nina Valenti, and others, graced us. Still one of the highlights of my life, and on my and Michael Manring's birthday...

    I'd like that. Thank you. S/n: S5082821; XB-200.

What Washburn Bass Do You Own (Database)?

I do. I added a more full finger bridge / ramp to fill the gap between the P and J, as well as a set of Chromes. It's also Eb tuned, to help with some songs in my bands set list. I'm loving it. :)

What Washburn Bass Do You Own (Database)?

Interesting that this popped up after skulking about on TB for the first time in YEARS, as I was trying to post a pic that got me into the First Bass Owners club; my Washburn XB-200. Aka 'Spaceman Spiff'. The thread seems locked and I can't post there, so...

    Pierluigi Balucci's basses

Just saw this guy from the video page of forbassplayersonly.com. YouTube - ‪bassobaldo's Channel‬‏ Impressive skills. Now, does ANYONE know what kind of basses this guy plays? Seems that he has at least 2 of them; one os the natural and another is a 3-tone burst.

    Carvin custom basses

I had a fretted LB76 for 6 or 7 years. One piece Maple neck, Walnut wings. J99 P-ups. I replaced the stock pre with a Bart 3-band. It gave it more tone range, but strung B to C, the 1 piece maple neck was kinda soft. A multi-laminate neck would have solved that issue. Good bass, though. Good...

    No Regrets!

My only regret, was getting a Tune 6-string, to replace a Carvin had. It wasn't long before I realized that it was more of a novelty than something I'd play. I only have one bass I'd never sell or trade; my first: Washburn XB-200

Carvin players!! What is your Low B like?

I had an LB76 for 6 or 7 years. Maple Neck-through with Walnut wings; J99 pups. I had to replace the stock 2-band with a Bart NTMB 3-band to soften the sound. As far as the B-string: I think if the neck had been a 3 or more piece, the neck would have been much more rigid. I really liked the...

What's the cheapest 6 string that is still worth it ?

If you can nail down a Carvin LB76, you'll not be disappointed.

The Christian Praise and Worship Band Bassists Club Part 6

Every so often my mother talks about how a friend of hers talked her out of going to see Keith in '80. She listened to 2nd Chapter when I was in grade school so much, I had a twitch when I saw you post this! LOL!

OK, so how many TB'ers are "Bi?"

Meh. Was going to list the specs on my basses, but that'd take too long. I'm with Darkstrike: slutty.
