Warwick RB Starbass 5 string Lefty: Found!

I have been looking for a Left-handed Warwick StarBass for some time, all to no avail, except for a $7500.00 special order German-built, which I'm sure is worth every penny. But alas, I have located and bought a lefty RB StarBass 5 from an outfit in Germany that I wanted to mention: thomann...

On a Corvette $$, is the battery disconnected from the circuit by the on-off knob alone, or do you also have to unplug the guitar? Thanks for the help.

    Tony Grey bass Academy?

I am. I am just learning the bass. I am not able to take live lessons at this point. I have used in the past a number of internet based lesson plans and instruction. For me, Tony Grey's instruction and Bass Academy is by far the best! What I really like is that he delves into theory in a...

    Modes for Major Scale

Boy, I am confused! On JamPlay, with the different modes or degrees for, say the C Major scale, always start on C and uses different intervals. On some other sites, the different modes begin with the next note in the scale i.e., C, D, E, etc. Can someone set me straight on this? Thanks, Mike

No sustain on D on 1st String

Yes, I have RS flatwounds. I wonder if it could be something to do with the diameter of the string and the particular tone production at that specific point on the string? Did someone say that other bass's do this also?

No sustain on D on 1st String

New to the 4 string bass. Fender J-Bass, Rotosound 77's; I have noticed that I have no resonance or sustain on the D played on the 1st string. This is the only position that this occurs. Is this normal?
