Did they replace the Duncan designed PU's for Fender designed PU's on the VM Jazz 5er??? Anyone tried both for comparison?

Got mine last week and couldn't try it till today. Great sound coming out of this little box. I was a little scared to get it since I had to send it outside the US, but the latest reviews/reports from you guys settled me down a bit. Tomorrow I'll probably try it in a real gig, so big expectations.
