So I never thought I would own a short scale bass... Now I know that it was dumb to think less based on size. I love this thing!! Plays great and sounds awesome... But the tuning pegs remind me of a guitars tuner. So I want to use round wounds and I like heavier gauges but what strings can I use...

just got my baby back. diamond elite 5. i put nordstrand fat stacks and a bartolini pre in her. man does it rock!

so i built my first pedal board this week, excited to use it Sunday. fender p w/ flats>joyo UD>Ashdown Hyperdrive>Joyo analog chorus>joyo compressor>Morley volume pedal>tech 21 rpm.

i really dig what the compressor does for my tone. it really evens my playing out well and makes my slap stuff sound sooo much better but still trying to dial in the UD. i think it will be a keeper with my James Lomenzo pedal as a slight drive and the UD as a mayhem pedal. still waiting on the...

I have a compressor, a UD, an analog chorus, and a power supply coming! should be here tomorrow

has anybody used either of their chorus pedals? I'm interested in getting a nice chorus on my board.

the RPM is the one with the variable mid control... I believe you got them mixed up. to the op, if you wana be able to dial in any sound you need ever i suggest the RPM.

^if you listen to dethklok Bryan Beller plays the Lull thunderbird in that. usually i find the bass hard to hear in metal, but the albums Bryan is on he is very present with that monster of a bass.
