Someone suggested a Fender Jaguar. I own one and love it, but beware; many have buzz/grounding issues. They can range from simple to take care of to drive you crazy- ville.

Since they've been re-introduced maybe the club can be re-activated. I applied for a number awhile back... crickets so far...

Intersting thread. I'm a radio programmer. I'm used to hearing from people about how radio sucks. But I would have thought that gigging musicians would be more prone to understand that the masses prefer the songs they know. Heck, even non-gigging musicans could know that. Think about it...
