This is the only bass that Zemaitis makes these days...if they moved the PU's to the vintage positions, swapped them for 51's, and used the vintage headshape i'd be interested...

Yeah, I was guessing a Zemaitis, but I couldn't find any info on that particular bass, which is quite different from most everything else I've seen. It's too bad... that might have been my next bass. Oh well.

I believe it is some guy named Rod. He had a few other projects, I think. The Faces, his best work for sure.Who's singing?
It is, but the Faces actually played it on Rod's album "Every Picture Tells A Story." It was understood that Rod had a solo career as well as doing Faces albums, and everyone was pretty loose about it.

Definitely one of my favorite concert videos. Not only are they having fun, but the recording is killer. And that bass tone is just amazing. I believe Bob Daisley owns that bass now.
Yep, they were totally OK with that in principle. Ronnie did eventually leave the band when, among other things, he felt the band wasn't receiving enough of Rod's divided attention anymore.
