32's usually need 34" winding length, can sometimes work with longer, always looking for more medium scale options

Got them 34 inch winding length blues
^ Don't know why it's not a song because I sing it already. Maybe just not a hit song ....
Keep in mind that if GHS ever comes up with "medium scale" for these, the chances are they will have a winding length of 35.5".

Hoping to see a double-ball-end version of these!
Unfortunately, that's not going to happen. Like @SLaPiNFuNK already stated, making double-ball strings is incredibly tricky (they have about 3x the steps as standard rounds), let alone tapewounds in that configuration.
Why should it be a concern at all? The idea was to have tonality that is equal across all strings; a flatwound G was too dark sounding under the nylon tape. So, it's roundwound and the other are flat, and it sounds correct.
It's a possibility, but not in the immediate future. If anything, I'd rather we offer a tapewound C string for those people that would like these on a 6 string bass, or want to tune EADGC.
We had them. They were discontinued about five years ago.
That's a niche string already, so to have them offered in a scale length that's even more uncommon would be an incredibly hard sell.
Yes, was a sad day the med scale pressurewounds disappeared. I get the business logic of your statements of course. I just keep hoping that some string company will go further in offering variations across materials and scales, even if expensive. After all lots of us will shell out for TI flats, I’m sure we would for other specialty strings too.
I’d buy a set of bronze pressurewounds today if they would fit my ABG, but I’m not going to buy them and then weep when they break because of misfit.

It's a bit difficult getting strings for the 32s in the bass room. I pretty much take what I can find.
I just found a set that had been sitting around collecting dust after searching for a year...old packaging...and I felt like I'd won the lottery.
I've had a set on my L2000 since I bought it last September...definitely my favorite strings.
Is there any appreciable difference between the old and new strings?
The ones I have are going on the next G&L I buy, but I'm thinking about buying some for my Reverend Thundergun.

Are you sure GHS short scale don't work? They always seemed a little long on my 30".
Here are the actual winding lengths (ball end to silk/taper) for GHS:
Short Scale = 32.75".
Medium Scale = 35.5".
Universal Long Scale = 37.25".
Long Scale Plus = 38".
Medium Scale = 35.5".
Universal Long Scale = 37.25".
Long Scale Plus = 38".
Dang, you're right! I'm thinking medium-scale on my through-body Mustang. Brain fart!

I have a bass that I think these might work well on. I am a might apprehensive as I tried a set of Fender tapewounds in 1974 and hated them.
According to @Jon Moody, the new re-introduced version of these are basically the same as the old version.
With that in mind, here are the tension figures for them, taken from the Aug-2014 version of the GHS Tension Guide, for those who care about such trials things in life.
G 050 - 41.0
D 070 - 48.0
A 090 - 44.6
E 105 - 34.2 (Total: 167.8 lbs.)
Something I've noticed, though, is the old 5-string set had a .125 for the low B, while the new set comes with a .130.
