Selling basses? Now that is just crazy talk.

You start hanging around Luthier's Corner and rolling your own basses.

I don't post pictures because they are mine! ALL MINE! For the group, "Should I buy a used Fender Jazz standard because:
1. I need it
2. I want it
3. I gotta have it
4. It will add a dance-able bounce to the set list"

You are the most rational people I can talk to, everyone else just says no! I don't have a Fender Jazz that is passive. But I am not a collector so I would use it. Right?

Edit: As a youngster, once I was able to afford a professional level bass, the one I chose was the one the most respected players at the time were using to create the best music in the studios. The Fender Jazz Bass.

I love it! I put some TI Jazz Flats, E to C. It has a lovely sound, and you can have some variety with the tone knob and changing the right hand position.

Very light, but no neck dive. 16,5mm spacing. Although I'm used to 19mm, I'm loving the narrower spacing, because it's my first 5 string and I like thin necks.

My $515 Open Box Butterscotch Blond LE Fender Tele just showed up with a perfect set up and was a half a step down were I need it. The figuring on the neck is really beautiful with a little birds-eye going on. Sounds and plays excellent. I really fell Blessed to actually own a real Fender, even if it's MIM. Hopefully the Mike Dirnt Loaded Pickguard shows up before the weekend. Once upgraded, I'll try and heard them all up for a photo shoot.
No guilt today !

Obviously cool beyond words...There is such a body I picked up on EBAY sitting under my bench waiting for a neck...Say, wait, I'b got a drawer full of parts to build another 8 string too! Now I'm starting to worry! Does that mean I'm infected too? I thought that boxes full of parts for future bass projects didn't count!

Three? What are you doing on this thread then?!! :)

Oh - pedals? Yeah, I think I have more pedals than the Tour de France at this point. The are just as addictive as basses, but much easier to sneak into the house. So they do tend to multiply like rabbits.
