Have you tried contacting dunlop/mxr? They have a great warranty program.

I have 2 vts at once somehow and I honestly can say that the distortion settings on the vt sounded AMAZING through a clean vt. He maybe pushed the VT as distortion into the deluxe as his cleans.

MXR has a phenomenal warranty. I used cheap jacks once that broke off in my BOD and they were gonna send me a new one for free, even after I told them it was my fault. Ended up fixing it myself but still give props to there c.s.

I had that problem recently when I added a few more pedals with my one spot. Seemed it didn't get enough voltage so I had to re power everything. Now its happy.

I have these in a peavey 410 and these can take a beating. Push 750+ watts continuously, goes lower then my stock peavey and crystal highs. These are amazing.

Like I said, I picked up my mini recorder for like $30 you can find the berhinger mini mixer for close to that too. That would get you the results you are after till you can get an interface

Honestly, with that price range I would look at recording interfaces if you have a computer capable of it. I use a mini recorder and it sounds fine. Lots of people use the berhinger mini mixer with good results. If you do get the interface you could try different plug ins of amps cabs and...

Its most likely your headphones and not the out on the amp. Cheap speakers sound like crap no matter what size they are. Invest in a good-mid quality headphones. Then you will actually hear what its supposed to sound like.

Wow, if I didn't still have a spare set I would pick this up in a heartbeat. Great prices for great strings from a great member. These strings also last a long time(mine have been on for almost 8 months with no real deadness)

Gawd I love bubinga necks. I'm never getting rid of my Ibanez sr1300 just for that reason. If I had more then $200 to play around with I would buy this in a heartbeat. Beautiful bass bump.
