When said crossover in my post i wasnt meaning an electronic or otherwise crossover, im saying that 15s, 12s, and 10s inhabit much of the same range and can be tuned fairly close to one another in cabs. And most of the dreaded 2x10 and 1x15 cabs are of a different size anyway, sure they usually...

A friend of mine got one of those 10.4 Carvin cabs. IMHO it was terrible, it really lacked lowend...in fact his old Behringer 4x10 seemed to have a substantial amount more. And it also had some major problems,it made a popping sound and lost resistance.....Carvin told him that it was just fine...

I find it hilarious that people say something like "You cant use 2x10s together with a 1x15. Just because the 1x15 is a 15" speaker doesnt mean that'll produce more lowend than 10s" And then use the very same logic in saying that no 2x10 and 1x15s will work together, you literally are arguing...

+1 there are many styles of music that require far more than a 1x12, its not just about volume its about the sound. A great huge cab can be fantastic at all volumes producing more lowend and more speaker headroom

The tremelo either doesnt work on the amp or the footswitch for tremelo isnt working. The reverb is very huge, like bigger thatn the cave setting on a verbzilla huge. The fuzz is remarkably good, it wont make me get rid of my Big Spider, Supercollider or stop me from getting a Dungeon Master but...

It could be a faulty speaker connection, if the headphones are working its definitely the speaker cone is torn, or the speaker faulty or its the wiring

In my experience carvin rates their cabs a bit optimistically. The neo 10.4 I played thru wasn't much if at.all louder than a behringer 4x10 and I hate to say this.but the behr seemed bassier and fuller

Its just downtuned guitar or BEADF#B, so its above standard tuned bass. Actually tuned to 60hz the Alphas can only hold 100w a piece so 4 wired series/parallel would be an 8 ohm 400w cab. Or i could run it as a 2 ohm cab and hope that the f-800 doesnt produce over 400w continuously. Tone...

Yeah the old folded horns are heavy and huge but this is gonna be sat in the band room and never moved. I still cant find out anything about the old Randall stuff.....id love to have one of those huge old 2x15 though

Anyone know anything about the old, orange stripe and all, Randall bass cabs? I have a line on a RB-121W that the owner swears is a 2x12 and doesnt have a wattage rating on it. The only thing he knows is that its a folded horn design and its 4 ohms. Hopefully someone here knows something
