I just looked up what I paid for this bass, and this is it. I'll be happy to get out what I put in. I'm going to let this sit up here until it sells.

I'm getting less action on this than I thought I would, so I guess I misjudged the market, so I'm dropping the price. I'm not playing this, so I'd like to see it go to a good home, but on the other hand, this isn't going to fund a another purchase, so I'm not rush to sell.

I would keep it. There are plenty of “mint” basses that sound meh. Maybe I sound too hippie like but wood is organic. It doesn’t all sound the same and come together the same way. If you get one that sounds great it’s a keeper as far as I’m concerned.

I bought an empty cab from this guy. I’m not joking when I say it’s probably the most sturdy thing in my house. Very well built. Plus he’s a super nice guy and very helpful.

I usually run my power amp bridged, but if I run just one side at 8 ohms, it maxes out at 215 watts. So I figure I’ll fun it like that... and not crank it.

Right now there is no padding or dampening material in there. Should I dampen it? Would the volume of the dampening material reduce the volume?

Those are external measurements. It makes sense that calculations are done on internal measurements though. My thought process when I picked up this cab was that I know the Black Widow is supposed to be modeled after a JBL, so I was hoping it would be sized properly.

The port is 5" deep. If the cabinet would work better sealed, it would be fairly easy to seal it up.
