    can you use a combo amp as a speaker cab?

    Want to get the wife a Gk backline head. Can I use my Behringer BX-1800 as a speaker cab? Obviously, I'm talking running the head directly to the 15" speaker and bypassing the combo. Would this work ok for practice untill she can get a good speaker cab?
