Wife picked herself out a bass

Went to GC and Parkway music. At GC, she fell in love with
a Fender Aerodyne JB, didn't want to spend $700. Tried a
Geddy Lee, but didn't like the way it played.

Went to Parkway music and she tried a Geddy Lee that was
properly set up and loved it. Must have tried about 15 basses
untill I gave her a Vintage white MIM Jazz Bass. Played it
for about an hour and said "I want this one". Sure enough,
it's one of the best MIM's I've seen. Perfect neck, low action
and no buzz. Used for two fitty. She always gets what she
wants and she liked this one best for some reason. She says
if she wants an Aerodyne or Geddy Lee later on, she can sell
this one. She's really happy with it. As you can see.

Nice bass. You got off cheap, mine wants a Gibson Les Paul Black Beauty, though she would settle for a Les Paul Goddess in a pinch.

Oh, BTW, she doesn't play guitar.

Parkway is a great store..Matt and Tom are great guys as are the rest of the staff..congrats to your wife and her new "baby"..BTW. since you got a good deal on the bass you should get a tort pickguard for her,white and tort says class.it should look something like this

i torted my white jazz and boy does it look good.. makes the white on the body look more cream than white, so much nicer
