I recently change my strings and I noticed that there was some fret buzz on my low e. My action is rather low but it never did that before. The weirder thing is that it has a weird warbly/flanger effect to it.
I recently change my strings on my bass and I noticed my low e has a weird tone. First it has some fretbuzz. My action is rather low but it never did this with my old strings. But it has a weird warbly/flanger like effect to it. I have no idea why this is.
I love growly and punchy tones. I have a hard time achieving this though. Any tips on what bass, head or cabs, strings, or pedals that could help me achieve this tone. I've heard that orange terror heads give you a nice growl but im not sure.
I like a bright, growly, and punchy tone. I'm not quite sure what strings would help me achieve this. I was looking at ernie ball super slinky but I'm not sure. Any opinions?
So i have one 8ohm 200 watt ampeg cab. I'm looking to get a 500 watt head but worried that I'll blow out my cab because of over powering it. If i get another cab to hook up to the head will half of the wattage go to one cab will the other half goes to the other?
