Invalid Link Removed I read this article today about Carol Kaye by Chris Zappa. However, when I got to the list of records she is credited on in the article, a lot of early Motown songs were on the list. Wasn't James Jamerson the bassist on those tracks, maybe Bob Babbitt on a few?

I was poking around Reverb and found this. I don't understand why it's worth so much. If it had some provenance, like it was owned by Duck Dunn or Steve Harris or someone, or was played on a well-known record, I could understand the asking price. But, this seems like they're asking waaaaay too...

I picked it up used off guitarcenter.com for $200 plus shipping. The only issue is the gouge by the control plate. That will buff out, right? ;) Anyway, the electronics will be modded. I'm just not sure with what at the moment.

I'm looking for an Aguilar AG 4M pickup, and every website I go to has them on back order for several weeks, saying it will ship once they get it in. It looks like the same situation on some of their other pickups as well. Has anyone ordered one recently and waited for it? If so, how long did it...
