Having switched between Hibeams and Dunlop SS, I slightly prefer the Dunlops.

I have a 44-02 and Fender Jazz Deluxe. As of nearly the last year I prefer the sound of the fender jazz over the 44-02. Although when I take breaks from the 44-02 and pick it back up it sure feels really nice but I don't dig the sound as much as the jazz.

Love these strings, have one pbass with Sunbeams and one with Dunlop Nickels. I love the feel, tension and mid-range authority of the dunlops
