To get the full sound from the Head, you do really need two cabs, I have a MAG 410T and a MAG 210T and its a lovely sound. Plus very loud!

Well really a 300H is fine, its what I have, at festivals you would use the D.I out on the head or mic up the cab. What cab(s) are you using with it?

From my knowledge, if you ran the MAG600 through a MAG 210, you could blow the speaker.

The way I have my OD set and the way I have my Flanger set, the two don't go together, so you really just got to make sure you set them both up so they compliment each other nicely.

Yeah that's true, if I got a MIA I know I wouldn't need to replace the pick ups or bridge because I love mine already. I wont get the money for this refinishing and painting till June, so I have 4 months to look at different Jazz Basses and that.

I guess, I could get a Squier Jazz Bass, but than the quality of a Squier compared to a MIM Jazz Bass is a fairly big difference isn't it? I want the bass to be good quality so I can gig it along side my American Standard Jazz Bass.

I just got a reply from SIMS and they said they would paint it for £235, a MIM Jazz would cost me around £470 so altogether I would be paying, £705. I was going to put some Quarter Pounders in it too. I don't know what to do now!
