My son's new bass

My son has been wanting a bass for a while now. Well, he saved up some money and I threw in a few bucks and we went to GC Saturday morning. I didn't realize it, but there was a big sale going on. We got the printout of all the deals. Lo and behold, there's an Ibanez bass on sale for half off.

He walked out with the very nice looking, $399 Ibanez SRX3EXQM1 for $195. This thing plays great and has a pretty mean tone.

Dang! I am not a fan of Ibanez as a rule, but that thing really looks killer. Seems like it would have a lot of versatility too. I would have condsidered that at the 400 buck mark honestly. Lucky Kid! Paid close to that for my first bass and it was crappola!
