The first amp I had was definitely crossover distortion as I put a tone generator and oscilloscope on the output. The amp I have at the moment may not be crossover distortion, but there is definitely distortion on low frequency tones that is not there on the DI or headphone out on the pedal.

I took mine to a local guitar tech and he routed out the cavity (cost me $60), I wired it so both knobs are volume controls for each pickup, and let an EQ play with tone. Best thing I did, the higher end coming out of it is awesome for solos
