let me rephrase this perhaps: the SX has a particular sound of its pickup (we know it sounds good!) but that SX sound if you may call it that way might not workout on some amp brands? Or is that not possible?

white P-bass always looks nice! I'm not a fan of gold hardware tho another thing for all J-bass SX'ers what amp are pairing well with the J's and which amps are to be avoided? or is there no such problem? My current amp is a peavey bass mark 3. A winner combination with the SJB-62

Hi guys & Dolls need some advise: I get an awsome tone out of my peavey TKO75 with a JBass, but with a P bass config I do not seem to get that thumping P-sound at all, can someone help me in finding how to set tone on the EQ?

Yeah I have been trying to figure that out, but SX parts seperately seem not being sold here in Europe. at least not that I have found as yet. Besides would the necks just fit to anybody (nice punn)? I once swapped the necks of a "Euro" SX and a "Rondo" SX and the necks did not fit smoothly...

Not quite: Those I've seen around so far...but surely not all available anylonger. Picture 1 and 2 are taken from 2 SX's I have 3 is from Rondo's and 4 and 5 off of a spanish distributor.

Well I have had Rondo send an SX to me here in Europe, that was even more money spent, but I do not regret it any second! At the same time I got another SX over here that cost me half the price, but I really wanted the one available at Rondos back then!

I love these kind of situations. (Happened to me too) Do you have the stock pickups in your SX? Be careful, people might want to steal an SX as they'd take it for a very expensive bass. :p
