Using a chorus pedal made for guitar on bass

so, I've been wanting to get a chorus pedal for a long time. But the pedals are close to $100, and I don't have that cash. I've been noticing that guitar chorus pedals go for much cheaper. How much of a difference would it make if I used a guitar chorus pedal on bass vs using a bass chorus pedal?

Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounders on a fretless Jazz bass?

so, I recently starting buying random replacement parts for a fender jazz bass to make a Frankenstein bass. I've got every part I need except the neck, the shaft pots, and the output jacks. I'm thinking about making the bass fretless, and I bought semoyur Duncan quarter pounders before deciding...

Chris Squire signature Rickenbacker. To restore, or not to restore?

Are expensive basses (rickenbacker, American standard fender, etc.) worth it?

so, I've recently been wanting to get a Rickenbacker, but then I saw the price tag is really huge. So, after realizing that, I started to ponder the question "is any bass over the price of $1000 worth it?" I've been playing on an epiphone goth thunderbird and a headless bass I don't know...

Guitar Center Etiquette (Trying out Gear)

I only tested a bass at a guitar store once. I was playing on an epiphone viola bass. While I was testing it quietly, some douche in the guitar section testing out a Gibson SG turned up his amp he was testing to the max while using a lot of distortion. I could barely hear what I was playing. I...

    Is this a good idea?

Hello! I'm new here. Anyway, I recently bought a squire mini strat for $15(it's missing it's last string.) I'm thinking of turning it into a bass. I have a bass bridge and bass neck on hand. Is this a a good idea, or what could go wrong?
