Help me figure out my XB Driver?

I've owned this pedal for about a year now. Gig with it regularly and like multiple sounds I've gotten out of it between my industrial band and my doom/stoner band. With that said theres one thing that always seems to boggle my mind with some of the presets in the manual. For example, on the...

Coming from someone who's owned a 210, 115 x2, and a 215, I'll take the double cab stacking over lugging around the 215 any day. Walking up and down stairs with that was a nightmare. Weight wasn't the issue, just the awkwardness of the distribution of the light weight. Not to mention knees...

Tech 21 dUg Pinnick DP-3X Signature Pedal!

I don't know for a fact, but in the manual for the XB Driver the Dug sample settings has the HPF at roughly 250Hz and the LPF at roughly 800Hz. I know these are two different pedals but considering it's the Dug tone in reference I'm sure they are fairly close to the same...

Tech 21 dUg Pinnick DP-3X Signature Pedal!

My power supply finally took a crap on me. Has anyone replaced theirs's? I was lucky to get it to work Saturday night as any slight movement at the male end would kill the power. Sunday nights gig I used my Boss power supply but I don't want to continually us that as it's the power brick in line...

Mesa Subway 115 with 210 or other 115

Another thing to add. Carrying the 215 up and down stairs was a royal pain in the a$$. I’d much rather carry two separate 35lbs cabs separately than one 60lbs cab. I would hit my knees on it which stopped me from lifting my left walking up steps. Food for thought.

Mesa Subway 115 with 210 or other 115

I started out with a 210/115. Gigged with it for about a year and then seen a 215 pop up used at GC for way less than it should have been so snagged it. Gigged with it for about 8 months and honestly it bothered me the whole time. I was missing something. I'm sure I could have went down the tone...

I just wish they had through the tuner on the thing. Seems to have had plenty of room and internally it wouldn't have taken much more space.

Since you already have a 115 I'd recommend just getting another. Or if you wanted a different cab that works too. I sold my 210 that I paired with my 115 which was a great stack. I replaced it with a 215 which is spectacular. My only regret in the choice is I almost wish I had just got another...

I once mixed my Subway 210 with a GK NEO 115 before I got my own Subway 210 as the band after us had his gear on stage and said I could tap in if i wanted just for fun. It was a nice change from the 210 by itself, but it's nothing compared to when I got my Subway 115 at the time. I wouldn't haul...

Subway 215 vs. Subway 212, sonic differences ?

Thank you @agedhorse I'm going to give that a shot tomorrow night. Playing a room that typical gives me more issues than any other I typically play.

Subway 215 vs. Subway 212, sonic differences ?

I understand what you’re saying. My cab isn’t getting the high cut from the pedal though as it’s only applied out of the XLR to the FOH. I’m 1/4” into the front of the head and the pedal doesn’t apply that filter on the 1/4 out. I believe the reason why the pedal was designed this way was...

Subway 215 vs. Subway 212, sonic differences ?

D-800+, Schecter SLS with Fishman Fluence, Tech 21 DP-3X through front of the head. I turn my tweeter off, as I did with my previous cab due to the DUG pedal having a cab sim out of the XLR that applies a high cut and I want it balanced out on my end compared to FOH. I’m thinking my main issue...

Been gigging alot lately. Here's a little clip running my DUG through my Mesa Subway D-800+ and Subway 215 cab. chunk 8:30, high 2, mids, 330, low 1:30, comp 2, gain max, mid button up, gain button up FOH got the DI out of the pedal, I run my cab tweet all the way off.

Subway 215 vs. Subway 212, sonic differences ?

Curious how one would make the 215 sound like the 212. Just cut some bass or run the HPF on the d-800+ higher? I have the 215 currently and use to run a 115 - 210 stack. I honestly wish I never got the 215 and kept what I had. It's too dark and feel like my tone is completely buried at times.

Mesa Subway 115 and 210 stack

I just played a gig last Friday with the 215. I was thrown off a little with my sound as it wasn’t what I was use to. I’ve ran rehearsals with just my 115 many times but on stage always used the 210+115. Last Friday I was waaaayy too boomy and something felt like it was missing from my tone...

Mesa Subway 115 and 210 stack

I've got the 210 and 115 stack and recently acquired a 215. I thought about getting another 210 or 115 but also took into consideration "do I want to lift 38lbs twice or lift 60lbs once?" Not to mention the fact that I don't have to fight a dolly anymore as the tilt back wheels are so much...

yup, they announced that about 3 weeks ago. I’m glad they put a normal bridge on the Stiletto Stealth Pro I can’t stand the stupid one on the regularly stealth. Also EMG pickups is a plus, though I’d love to see a Stiletto with the Fishman Fluence setup. Also the inlays are “meh”. Wish they had...

I use a 210 and 115 combo and it’s great. I also personally like the tone of the 210 over the 115 when it comes to stand alone. I always gig with both, but I use one at one rehearsal spot and the other at my other bands spot. So I definitely get a taste of what they sound like individually but...

I don't see the point in using this pedal without it to be quite honest with you. I mean, it's the secret sauce and purpose of this whole thing as far as Im concerned.
