I have this old pedal (fuzz) that has the volume knob also serve as On/Off, when you turn it enough it clicks and the pedal is engaged. the pedal has no power source so this keeps the battery from running out if it's all plugged in on a pedalboard. The pot has the 3 normal lugs, and beneath...
Hi everyone
Apologies for any ignorance I may have with this, just getting into this part of the pedal/effects world and just looking for the best option!
I’m looking for a small cab simulator to use for live and recording situations and I’ve been really drawn to the Two Notes stuff, but I’m...
Does anyone have experience with both the Boss SYB-3 and SYB-5 bass synth pedals? I used to have the SYB-3 and I liked the wide variety of sounds I got out of it, and I especially liked that it had auto-wah settings! So I didn’t have to get yet another pedal for auto-wah stuff. So when I went...
Hey guys,
I’ve been battling with my Cat Demon from fuzzrocious for some time now. Making it work in my signal path is a pain. Turn it down too much and it sounds whimpy and I lose that feedback switch. But when it’s at a setting that’s just right, I usually turn down my DI to compensate. But...
I got the B1X four when it first came out. I'm not much of an effects guy, so I thought $99 was a great price to try a bunch of different effects instead of buying umpteen individual pedals. I found the unit pretty frustrating to edit patches, and it turned out there is zero activity in the zoom...
Hello everyone, I am a relatively newcomer, so I will be sincerely grateful for the advice. I consider the purchase of Hotone Ampero One as a multi-effect pedal, namely Wah, synth, delay, reverb, distortion. Maybe someone is using the processor and can tell you how their quality is and whether...
So I added a Boss CH-1 Super Chorus to my "Portable" recording studio arsenal today.
I didn't necessarily buy it to use with my bass. I've been in two recording projects this year with guitarists who just don't have the arsenal of pedals they really need for the music we have been doing...
...and... that's it!
If you happen to have one of these old 'rite of passage' pedals laying around (ya; the totally old-school purple one... DOD FX56), bust it out for giddy mega-heavy distortion fun. It could possibly used at a gig, depending on your settings, but MAN, I'll never sell mine...
Sup, peeps!
Pardons in advance if this topic has been done (possibly, to death?) before, but hopin' to continue to learn, get new ideas, 'life-hack' sorts of approaches to things. Also, hopin' to hear from everyone 'up and down' the experience chain... from the Jedis to the Padowans.
WARNING...
It's fairly common for bass lines to be doubled by a piano left-hand. Common enough that there would be a ready market for an effects pedal that would generate such a doubling for bass.
Does anyone know of such a pedal?
