Unopened set. I have had these for a couple of years but never used them.
Playing mostly flat wounds these days.
GHS says they are especially made for use with drop tunings.
It says:
For Those players who play in drop D, C, standard and below,
yet prefer the feel of strings with regular gauges...
Hey all,
I have a 5-string 35" scale bass which is currently tuned to ADGCF, I'm using a D'addario EXL160BT which is a 50, 67, 90, 120 set with a .145 single on the low A.
I've come to this set/gauge after experimentation with lower gauges (of D'addario EXL strings which used for over 10...
GHS touts these as being specially engineered to accommodate drop D & C
tuning and holding their pitch without being and extra heavy gauge.
This is a brand new unopened 34” scale set that I have had for a year and I don’t have any use for it.

• my Yamaha BB has GHS Bass Boomers M3045 (a big success)
• my P-with-DiMarzio has Fender 7250M (very happy with this pair)
• on the TRBX604 I've now sold I tried Daddario EXL165 (not a success)
All three are hex-core nickel-plated steels, they've similar stiffness and tension, and all are...
Any string experts wanna take a poke at this? I’ve had these taken off from an Ibanez bass two years ago. Original owner claims they’re GHS Boomers Flea Signature but I don’t recall GHS ever using these kind of colored silks in the Boomers...
Anyway, would love to know what brand these are...
I've only had my BB424 since the start of the year. The GHS Boomers (45-105, I believe) that came with it sounded fantastic. I was faintly aware of the dead spot, but only when I thought about it.
First string change, tried some Rotosound Swing Bass 45-105. Great strings, really vibrant, full...

Here is a lot of five sets total. Each are 5 string packages. Each set has been used for no more than 15 minutes. Yes, it was a rapid fire test I put them through.
Pick any two sets for $40 total...
