    Bad active circuit on brand new Sire m2 5 gen2, any help appriciated!

    So i just got my brand new Sire m2 5 gen2 bass and i like it, but i noticed something strange with the active circuit. I can run it in passive mode and it works fine but when switching to active mode, i can run it for about one minute then it starts to distort and the volume starts to fade away...

    Marcus miller p7 swamp ash vs m2

    Hi I have a dilemma of choosing the m2 or the p7 im leaning towards the later because of the versatility and the fact that its good for rock and metal (my prefered genres). But I want the m2 for the 24 frets and the beautiful look. Is the m2 5 string good for rock and metal?
