    Bad active circuit on brand new Sire m2 5 gen2, any help appriciated!

    So i just got my brand new Sire m2 5 gen2 bass and i like it, but i noticed something strange with the active circuit. I can run it in passive mode and it works fine but when switching to active mode, i can run it for about one minute then it starts to distort and the volume starts to fade away...

    Sire vs Schecter

    I am going to buy a bass soon and i am on a budget. I have two basses i am trying to decide on. The Sire M2 or the Schecter Stiletto Extreme. I have heard really good things about Sire but no one in town has any for me to demo. Just looking for some advice here.
